After weeks of saying I’d do it, I’m finally archiving my fics here (not counting the fic I posted last night, since it was new)! I don’t know why I’m starting with this one. I don’t really want to post my very first fic, since I think it’s rather bad, but I should be posting chronologically. Oh well. They’ll all get here eventually. Though I shouldn’t have to point this out, all my stories were written before DH, and are therefore AU.

 

Oh, and a quick note. So apparently the Department of Magical Law Enforcement is more like a department of lawyers. (JKR said in an interview Hermione ends up working here.) I’ve always thought it was like the regular police, and Aurors were the cream of the crop. Detectives or somesuch. After all, there’s many different levels of law enforcement. I think I’m going to keep it my way, if that’s ok with you.

Summary: After the war, the Ministry has a few questions to ask. Unfortunately for Inquisitor McNealy, the person to be interviewed has a few accounts to settle.

 

Notes: I’m not happy with the beginning, and I think some parts are clunky, but I couldn’t let this fic languish on my hard-drive forever. It’s also quickly becoming a favorite of mine. Perhaps it has to do with Remus’s attitude?
