Fanart? Why not. (Ron/Hermione, G)

When I mentioned on the meme I posted a while back that I thought I drew well, but am getting really rusty, [info]stupid_drawings asked to see an example of my artistic skillz.  I'm planning an attempt at the requested zombie, but until then, I thought now would be a good time to post a new piece that has yet to be revealed to the public.  How exciting!

This is a picture of Ron and Hermione from a fic of mine that has, unfortunately, not been posted anywhere yet.  Well, except the first chapter at the Ron/Hermione fic exchange on livejournal.  But it's a loooong fic that has yet to be finished, involving time traveling to different eras and massive amounts of drama, angst, mystery, and romance.  Perhaps even smut later on.

Regardless, I thought this was a cute picture.  They have traveled to December, 1824, and are at a rather formal dance in London.  I tried to get their clothing correct, but 1824 is a strange time period.  It's transitioning from Regency to Victorian, so the style is not really consistent.  Let's see... what else should you know... Well, they aren't a couple yet, so Ron's supposed to be a bit awkward.  The waltz at that time was a dance that had (relatively) recently been introduced to England, and many of the more uptight folk thought it too intimate.

Drawn in plain old pencil and scanned.  Nothing special to it. :-)

Concrit is adored and completely welcome... I'm always looking for ways to improve!  Enjoy!
